O! how can words describe
The beauty of mother nature
When we take a glance around,
How diligently can we see
The magnificient handiwork
Of out mother nature.
O,with what skill she painted
The trees green, the skies blue
o, how beautifully has she created
The mountains , the snow, the dew
The variety of flowers.
Whatever humans acheive,
The efficiency and skill of
Mother nature is unique
But o, mother!
How we humans destroy your beauty
how we cut down the trees
You've carefully brought up
How cruelly we pluck the delicate flowers.
The crowing point of your creation.
Forgive us for trying to destroy
Your glorious creation
Pray,don't destroy us
Forgive our faults.
O beautiful mother earth!!!

Terrorism and bombing

Terrorism and bombing
The serial bombings in Ahmedabad and Bangalore, which have taken a toll of nearly %0 lives and injured more than 150 people, form part of a sequence of attacks that have demonstrated just how dangerous the terrorist threat to India’s major cities continues to be. Even by the macabre standards we have been compelled to become accustomed to, the character of the violence is horrifying. After all, it takes a special kind of savagery to bomb a hospital.
Police deployment in public places is enhanced; random checks on traffic are stepped up; metal detectors are installed in shopping complexes. . But the truth is that not a single urban terrorist has been arrested in street checks..Teerorism can be broken down in to two elements:the intension to engage in acts of murderous violence, and the infrastructure needed to execute them. Terrorist intentions can best be addressed by investigating in police intelligence and investigative capabilities.
Expertly fabricated explosive devices based on ammonium nitrate can be deadly, as the terrorists demonstrated in Ahmedabad and Bangalore. Unless a rigorous regulatory apparatus in put in place, they will continue to find the explosive material they need to power their campaign of hate. Will such measure guarantee a terror free future? The answer is no, because a considerable part of the terror infrastructure lies outside India but they might contribute to making our lives significantly safer.

BEFORE BLAMING OTHERS
@ 2008-04-03 – 14:59:37
BEFORE BLAMING OTHERS It is easy to blame others and to find their mistakes. But before blaming others for their mistakes just think whether u had done any mistakes. The world is always complaining that the new generation of 21 century is unconscious of their role and in the society. It is because of this unawareness that the children turn to be terrorists and criminals. Children are now been used for many brutal practices. Why the children gets ready for this. May be because of their own interest or of their parents, in need of money. But they are keen to all these practices only because they are ignorant about the role and duties that they have to perform. However instead of blaming these children or their parents the world has to do something to make them aware of their importance and their duties. This is not the case always. Some children are very loyalist. They have a great love for their nation. They take part themselves in country’s pains and happiness. They are ready to put up with the others who suffer. For them a slap to one’s face is like a slap to their heart. They will try their best to protest against all the mischief’s but may not be efficient in that. What the world has to do here? They must be given proper guidance under an efficient teacher. They must be encouraged by the society rather than discouraging them. There are only a few teachers like Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam but there is a need of more teacher’s like kalam.
You may be wondering why I am writing like this. This is only an outline. You are the one’s to think deep about it. Some of you may have a feeling that there is nothing happening in the group. Instead of leaving or blaming the group or moderator or the members, first do what you can. Tell the members to be active. Lead the youngsters in a straight way boost us from behind. We don’t know much about life. Those who have more experience are the one’s to guide us in the right way.Let’s hope that we can give our best to our group.DREAM FOR IT…….HOPE FOR IT…………WORK FOR IT……AND…………….FULFILL IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

REQUEST FROM AN INDIAN
@ 2008-03-17 – 09:10:04
REQUEST FROM AN INDIAN
I am a a5 year old girl. Like every Indian, I am also very proud to be an Indian. There are certain moments which we all feel a great patriotism towards our nation. I think that we are very lucky to have such an excellent opportunity to live in India, which is a storehouse of tradition, which is rich in different cultures, which is flying to highs and highs.
Now a day we could find certain demerits in our development. However, there are some moments of pride for us; there are also the moments that we feel shame on us. It is our responsibility to look after the tourists to our place. It is not only the duty of government officials but also it is the duty of every Indian citizen. However, what happened some days ago in Goa? What happened in Kochi and Mumbai on the New Year night? This is not only the condition with Goa, Mumbai or Kerala. Nevertheless, in every corner of India it is happening daily. Is this the way to behave to visitors to our place (not only to the visitor’s but also to the natives)? Is it our culture?
Westernization is good but only up to a limit and it is not good for a traditional and incredible country like India to cross its limit. We must understand that our country cannot be another America or Europe. We are rich with varieties of culture and tradition, then why should we adopt the cultures of other countries? We feel ashmed of watching T.V. programs. Is this the culture that we all are proud of?All of us make India pride. Our sports stars, industrialists, artisans, scientists, doctors, politicians, teacher’s, student’s, peasants, traders etc. are part of the winning team of India. However, making India pride should not be by destroying its culture. Once sari was our traditional dress (now it is only for name), now a day it has made in to a worst kind of dress. Try to call up your memories. Is it the same India where the best symbols of women?like Rani Lakshmi Bhai, Sultana Razia, Vijaylakshmi Pandit, Annie Basant, Indira Gandhi had lived.
We had our ancestors raising their voice to increase the women’s status in the society. Now it has increased but not in the way that our ancestor has thought. If it was home that most of the women spend their time earlier now it is night clubs or bars.
I wonder How India can change like this. It is not only them who are going to suffer it is we Indian’s.
We are not ready to bear the risk of westernization. Westernization should not lead our young generation to a wrong path. The future of India is in the hands of youngsters like me. To build up a young generation that represents the living wonders of real tradition, culture and sincere guards of democracy,
every Indian must be careful in their duties (especially cine artists because they are the one’s most attracted by the young generation).
Being a teenage girl, I am kindly requesting to every Indian to raise their voice against the evils existing in our society. Governments should ban or take powerful actions against the films or any such actions or activities that spoils our culture.
No other cultures of the world are equal to ours. None of them can replace ours.By Nitya Jeejo
